Live Photos export as still
HEIC files often contain a Live Photo motion track. The JPG output is just the still frame.

Originals not changed

Quality setting
Default is JPEG quality 92 which is near-lossless. Drop to 80 if you also want smaller files.

Is the conversion lossy?
HEIC → JPG is lossy by definition (JPEG is a lossy format). At quality 92 the loss is imperceptible.
Does my photo get uploaded?
No. The conversion runs in your browser. The file never leaves your device.
Can I convert many at once?
