Tone is what people notice about a photo before they notice the subject: whether it feels warm or clinical, punchy or faded. Adjusting it well means moving several things together, which is why this editor pairs sliders with looks. Temperature shifts the red-blue balance (the warm/cool axis), tint shifts green-magenta (what fixes fluorescent-light casts), and brightness, contrast and saturation do what they say, with saturation applied around luminance so skin does not go orange when you push it. The one-click looks are starting points, not filters: applying Faded film or Punchy just positions the five sliders, and you keep adjusting from there. Fix the cast before the mood
If the photo was shot under warm bulbs or fluorescents, neutralize first: temperature down for yellow casts, tint toward magenta for green ones. Then add the look you want on top.
Contrast and saturation travel together
Raising contrast visually boosts saturation too. If you push contrast, pull saturation back a few points to keep skin natural.
Faded is low contrast, not low brightness
The film look people want is contrast down, brightness slightly up, saturation down. Darkening the photo just makes it dark.
Black and white benefits from contrast
Dropping saturation to -100 flattens the image; the B&W look adds contrast back, and most photos want even more than the preset applies.

What does toning a picture mean?
Shifting its overall color character and light: warmer or cooler, punchier or softer, saturated or faded. It is the difference between a photo feeling like noon office light or golden hour, without touching the content.
Does the download lose quality?
The export re-applies your adjustments to the original at full resolution and saves a high-quality JPG. The preview is downscaled for speed; the download is not.

Can it fix a very underexposed or blurry photo?
